Can You Really Finish Writing and Editing a Business Book in Eight Weeks?

Absolutely. In fact I’ve done it dozens of times.

It’s not really that surprising when you understand my process, which is designed to take advantage of momentum and bursts of activity to get the project moving. In the end it’s not just about getting a book done faster – it’s about producing something that’s sharper and clearer than it would have been if the process were dragged out.

What About Ghostwriting Fees and Contracts?

There isn’t any one set price for a book project, given that each client can have something different in mind. With that being said, I’m certainly not going to be the cheapest writer you meet. I only work with clients who want to publish Million Dollar Business Books. Those aren’t the kinds of projects you take on for minimum wage.

If you’re looking for a ballpark estimate, consider that hiring me will cost you roughly as much as buying a decent mid-sized car. The big difference, of course, is that the car loses value the moment you drive it off the lot while a published book helps your business grow (and keep growing) every day for decades to come.

As for contracts, I use relatively simple agreements to avoid confusion. If it seems like we’re a good fit to work together, I’ll walk you through all the terms before we sign.

What Makes You Different From Other Ghostwriters?

There are probably hundreds of people out there calling themselves professional ghostwriters, but only a handful of us have been doing this full time for many years. Within that community there are two things that make me stand out from the other professionals:

What Is Your Ghostwriting Process Like?

I have a whole video on this topic, but what you really need to know is that after we sign your ghostwriting contract your main job is to be interviewed. I’ll spend lots of time with you – on the phone, during video calls, or in person – finding out about your background, your voice, and the message you want to share in your book. Then I’ll spend weeks putting those ideas into a first draft of your book.

After that you’ll get a chance to review the work and make edits. Then, the final version will be proofread and turned into a book that can be printed, downloaded, and shared.

About Me

My name is Matt, and I’ve been writing professionally since 1999. Since then I’ve had the opportunity to work on 100+ business books (I stopped keeping track of the actual number a long time ago) for my clients.

Earlier in my career I worked as a sales speakers bureau agent, helping some of the world’s most popular personalities book corporate appearances. While I’ve been writing full time since 2007, those experiences have been crucial to my work because they taught me what is possible when you have a good idea and the right platform for credibility (which usually includes a published book).

As an experienced ghostwriter and book editor, my role is to help you build your profile and share your ideas with the world. I want to see you publish something you can be proud of, and that can help you take your business or practice to the next level.
